Deleting data does not necessarily stop billing through a third-party app store.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Option 1: Delete Selected Information<\/h2>\n<p>Inside Global Pulse, go to <strong>Settings &rarr; Privacy and Data<\/strong>. You may be able to delete a trip, delete check-in history, delete location history, remove a trusted contact, disconnect a social account, delete emergency notes, or delete uploaded files.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Option 2: Delete Your Global Pulse Profile<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Open <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Privacy and Data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Delete Global Pulse Profile<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Review what will be removed.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm your identity.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm deletion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Your general ExpatPostal mail account may remain active unless you separately request its deletion.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Option 3: Delete the Entire ExpatPostal Account<\/h2>\n<p>Use this option only when you want to close both Global Pulse and your broader ExpatPostal account. Include your name, account email, requested deletion, and preferred contact method.<\/p>\n<div class=\"gp-warn\">Do not email a full payment-card number, a password, a Social Security number, or a passport image unless specifically requested through a secure process.<\/div>\n\n<h2>Identity Verification<\/h2>\n<p>We may verify your identity before deletion. Verification may include signed-in account confirmation, email verification, SMS verification, transaction information, or additional secure verification. We will not request more information than reasonably necessary.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Trusted-Contact Requests<\/h2>\n<p>A trusted contact may request removal of their own contact information. The trusted contact cannot normally delete the primary user&rsquo;s account.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Processing the Request<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Confirm receipt.<\/li>\n<li>Review the request.<\/li>\n<li>Identify records eligible for deletion.<\/li>\n<li>Delete or deidentify eligible information.<\/li>\n<li>Preserve legally required records.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm completion or explain a lawful denial.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h2>Timing<\/h2>\n<p>We aim to respond within the period required by applicable law. Where no specific period applies, we aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Complex requests may require additional time, and we will provide notice when appropriate.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Information We May Retain<\/h2>\n<p>We may retain limited information for transaction and tax records, subscription history, fraud prevention, security investigations, consent evidence, legal claims, regulatory compliance, and proof that a deletion request was completed.<\/p>\n<p>Retained information will not be used for ordinary Global Pulse service or unrelated advertising.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Active Emergency Workflow<\/h2>\n<p>When a deletion request is made during an active emergency-alert workflow, we may delay deletion of the active incident record long enough to complete the alert process, protect users, preserve security records, and meet legal obligations. We will not use this exception to retain information longer than reasonably necessary.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Data Export<\/h2>\n<p>You may request a copy before deletion. The export may include your profile, trusted contacts, trips, check-ins, alert history, permissions, and subscription information.
