The Residential Address Add-On is available only with Premium and Household memberships. Premium and Household can still be selected as base memberships, but choosing this add-on changes the payment requirement for that bundle.

Complete USPS Form 1583 authorization
Once your mailbox setup is ready, you’ll receive an email to complete USPS Form 1583 and create your postal portal password.

Notarize and upload your form
You can notarize the form through our notarization service or complete it manually through your bank, then upload the notarized form inside your customer portal.

Wait for admin verification
Our team will review and verify your submitted authorization form before activating your mailbox.

Receive your active mailbox confirmation
Once approved, you’ll receive an email confirmation, and your customer portal will show your mailbox as active.

You can now receive mail and request the services included in your selected plan, such as scans, forwarding, document handling, check scan service, U.S. letter sending, or eligible package pickup.

Sensitive Item Protection
Credit cards, IDs, checks, and similar sensitive items are not ordinary mail scans. They remain sealed unless handled through an approved process.
Receive Eligible U.S. Retailer Packages in Baja
ExpatPostal members can receive eligible packages from Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and other U.S. retailers according to membership limits and package rules.
Packages are not forwarded internationally. Eligible packages are handled through secure Baja pickup options and must follow plan limits, size limits, storage rules, and prohibited-items policy.
- Packages are stored for up to 5 days after notification
- Packages held after 5 days are billed at $5/day per package
- Packages must fit inside a standard car trunk by length and width
Approved Coworking Delivery Options
ExpatPostal works with approved coworking partner locations near the U.S.-Mexico border to support weekly delivery options for eligible members.
